Steve Glass of Glass Tax Service, LLC is a certified tax preparer and has been in the tax business for over 34 years. I started out by taking an H & R Block income tax preparation course in 1986 and decided to start preparing income taxes on my own after the course was finished. I began by preparing taxes for a few people at work, and since then, my business has grown such that I currently service over 200 clients per year, including several who have moved out of state and even out of the country but still send their taxes to me to prepare.

It has been my experience that when a person shares their financial secrets, it opens doors to their personal lives. I have had clients share personal information with me, such as various health and personal problems, once I have agreed to do their income tax preparation. I have even had some clients come to me to prepare multiple years of tax returns (some up to 10 years). I helped them get back on track, take care of their back taxes and get back into the good graces of the IRS. In the process of preparing these back taxes, I saved my clients many thousands of dollars from the IRS estimates they originally received.

• Glass Tax Service, LLC is an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau since March 2001 and maintains an A+ rating.
• Through new IRS regulations, I must take an annual tax update course for tax laws that affect individuals and small businesses to keep up-to-date.  I also invest in professional income tax software every year that takes advantage of these new tax laws.  In addition, I take the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) refresher course every year, which allows me as an unenrolled tax preparer to represent my clients whose tax returns I have prepared.  These credentials allow me to better serve you should you have problems with the IRS or find yourself in an audit situation.  Taking this course was voluntary and is in addition to the two-day tax update course that I take each year.
